Abstract
In our report, in order to meet the sustainable development of infrastructure construction, recycled concrete aggregate from construction waste was used as particle materials for foundation treatment-forming a recycled concrete aggregate encased column, and the load-bearing characteristics of recycled concrete aggregate encased column were studied from the theoretical level. Taking the pile-soil self-weight stress into account, the ultimate equilibrium theory and the elastoplastic theory were used to establish the formula for calculating the bearing capacity of a single column of recycled concrete aggregate-encased column under different encased stiffness and diameter. Based on the test data, the strength correction coefficient was used to modify the calculation formula of single column bearing capacity. The results showed that the encasement stiffness and diameter are the key factors to control the bearing performance of columns. Increasing the incase stiffness and diameter can significantly improve the bearing performance of recycled concrete aggregate encased columns. Finally, the calculation method was used for the existing research examples, the calculation results are closer to the measured values.
