Open Space Vitality Quantitative Evaluation of Urban Streets Based on Principal Component Analysis

  • To quantify open space vitality of urban streets, the evaluation index system of open space vitality of urban streets with four dimensions of safety, functionality, comfort and ornamental from the user’s point of view was established, the questionnaire was used to obtain the basic data, and the principal component analysis with the help of spss 19.0 was used for statistical analysis to obtain the weight value of open space vitality evaluation index of urban streets, then, a quantitative evaluation system for the open space of urban streets was established. The system provides the theoretical basis and data reference for the evaluation and design of open space of urban streets.
