Abstract

In the report, the compression mapping, Legendre polynomials and the orthogonality of wavelet were used to obtain the general formula of piecewise quadratic polynomial wavelets, and the wavelets were used as basis functions and the collocation method was performed to obtain the numerical solution of Fisher equation. The numerical experiment indicated that the method is effective and feasible for the Fisher equation.
