Herbicidal and Fungicidal Activities of 6-Ester Coumarin Derivatives

The mycelium growth rate method and seed growth method were performed to determine the antifungal and herbicidal activities of 6-ester coumarin derivatives. The results showed that 6-ester coumarin derivatives have excellent herbicidal activity against the 5 kind receptor plants, especially, the antifungal activity of I_o, I_z, I_oo, I_qq, I_m, I_a, is as same as that of Acetochlor; 6-ester coumarin derivatives also have antifungal activities against the 6 kind target fungi, the antifungal activity of I_m against Pestalotia palmarum is 81.86%, which is as same as that of Chlorothalonil.
