Development of A PCR Method for Rapid Detection of Bacillus licheniformis Based on gyrB Gene

In this study，based on gyrB gene sequences from six Bacillus licheniformis isolates, a pair of specific primers, F1 and R1, was designed. The primers were used for the detection of Bacillus licheniformis, the size of the amplified product and the sensitivity were 303 bp and 1 ×10^－3 mg·L^－1, respectively. The method had the advantages of high-efficiency, high-sensitivity and high-specificity, and which set a good foundation for isolating Bacillus licheniformis from a complex microbial community samples.
