Research Progresses of Marine Biotoxins

Because of strong toxicity, novel structure, specific pharmacological effects, some marine biotoxins have become powerful tools of pharmacology and neuroscience, and new medicine source. In the paper, several important toxins, such as peptides, polyethers and alkaloids, which are roughly classified according to their chemical structure were reviewed, and the application prospects of them were discussed.
