Evaluation on Environmental Quality of Outdoor Bathing Place in Yalong Bay, Sanya

From 2005 to 2009, the environmental quality of outdoor bathing place of Yalong Bay were monitored, and the results showed that it was in January that the temperature was lowest, which was 22.5℃ and the average temperature was 28.0℃ from May to October; the average wave-height was 0.8 m, and it was only under conditions of typhoon or low pressure that there were the hard waves; the levels of pH and dissolved oxygen(DO) remained in a range of quality criterion I all the year and no Faecal coliform was detected. The water quality of the bathing place was excellent through the multi-evaluation; and above 85% of the days was fitting for swimming per year.
