Abstract:
Because of its strength to weight ratio and stiffness weight ratio, low coefficient of thermal expansion, anisotropy, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic, good fatigue resistance and high durability, Fiber Reinforced Polymer(FRP) composite materials were widely used in bridges, fiber reinforced concrete, reinforcement material, continuous fiber reinforcement, geotechnical engineering and construction projects. In our report, the research and application of FRP material in the new structure, structure reinforcement, bridges and prestressed FRP in concrete structures were described, and some problems and prospects were proposed.
