Abstract: Environment protection, not only involves the sustained development of national economy, but also affects the life quality of people. In the paper, based on environmental monitoring, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and cleaning air and water treatment, the role and development situation of nanomaterials in the world were discussed in detail, the probable developing direction of it was also analyzed.
