Abstract: The authors make a preliminary discussion on these problems after China’s entry into WTO, such as how to play the practical role of our government and aquacultural enterprises in controlling the hygienic condition and quality of the cultured aquacultural products, and how to make full use of the SPS agreement for expanding the export of aquacultural products, protecting the aquaculture industry of our country, and improving its sustainable development etc.
