Abstract: Anti-inflammatory effect of Danmu Extract Tablets (DET) was studied by methods of tests of capillary permeability, auricular tumefaction, metatarsal tumefaction and chronic granulomatosis etc. The results showed that DET could obviously inhibit the increase of mice’s abdominal capillary permeability caused by glacial acetic acid, and the formation of mice’s auricular tumefaction caused by dimethylbenzene, it could inhibit the rats’ metatarsal tumefaction caused by egg white and the hyperplasia of chronic granulomatosis caused by cotton ball; In addition, DET had an effect of allaying a fever on the domestic rabbit during the rising of the double-peak body ternperature caused by Vi polysaccharide bacterium. Thus a conclusion was drawn that DET had anti-inflammatory effect in various ways.
