Abstract: Pichia pastoris has been proved to be a promising host organism for the production of heterogonous proteins. We report here the optimization of promoter, high copy integrants, codon preference, host genotype, and high-density cell culture of Pichia pastoris to increase the production of heterogonous proteins and make it more efficient for large-scale production.
