Abstract: The standard of garden classification and Hainan garden feature were integrated, the garden of Hainan Island was divided into 6 large classes, which are tropical natural landscape garden, tropical wildlife garden, holiday leisure garden, city life garden, culture historical garden, and the other garden. These large classes were divided into 18 medium classes and 27 small classes, and they were drawn into a complete classification table, which offer some helps for the development of the garden of Hainan Island and provide the references for the classification of garden.
