Abstract: In this poper the isolation methods for producing citronella oil are strdied it has been done mainly in two aspects: citronellal or geraniol isolated first from the citroneUal oil. Five isolation technological processes, such as: sodium hydrogensulfite, borate esterification and etc. have been studied and improved. In citronellal produced the relevant standards of the content of geraniol have been reached.
