Abstract: In digital video broadcasting-satellite, the integrated receiver decoder should include some function modules such as tuner, QPSK demodulator, FEC decoder, demultiplexer, MPEG-2 source decoder, clock circuit, interface function and so on. In this paper a realizing project about IRD is put forward; the technology of source decoding is researched; and the software system of AViA-DMX is designed.
