Abstract: The transverse discharge technology of UV preionization is applied to a non-chain TE HF chemical laser. A maximum pulse energy of 240 mJ and the electrical efficiency with 1.8% are reported. Meantime, the related electric parameters has been measured and the mixture ratio of gas was optimized.
