Abstract: Based on the actual situation of mathematical modeling contest of Hainan University, Analytic Hierarchy Process（AHP）and the dynamic programming theory were used to construct the mathematical model for selecting the team member.Based on the principle of fairness, the students were evaluated and the best grouping principles were proposed.
