Abstract:
In our report, in order to improve the high biomass and lipid accumulation of the tropic oilgae
Dictyosphaerium sp., the medium and natural conditions, including light, were optimized. The results indicated that NaHCO
3 was the optimum carbon source, glycine was the best nitrogen source, the optimal light density was 360 μmol/(s·m
2). The response surface methodology was used to optimize the cultivation condition of tropic oilgae
Dictyosphaerium sp. towards lipid yield. The results indicated that the best growth condition of
Dictyosphaerium sp and is sodium bicarbonate 0.19 mmol/L, glycine 14.86 mmol/L, dipotassium phosphate 0.1 g/L, and aeration 9.8 L/h, which can produce the maximal lipid yield(1.02 g/L). Under outdoor scale-up cultivation conditions, Fed-batch was the best feeding strategy.
