Abstract: There are many cucumber varieties, of which the yield and character are different. 6 varieties of cucumber were compared in the experiment. The main result of the experiment was as follow: The yield of Ciqing a was highest among the 6 varieties, its mean yield was 2788 kg per mu. Jinyan 4 was second with the mean yield of 2279 kg per mu. Both of them will be very good varieties at present if they are sown in Southern Hainan Island in winter season.
